WARNING: Currently Apple pushed a new firmware that is 3.1.3 FW. PLEASE DO NOT UPDATE your iphone 3g and 3gS to this firmware. Doing so will make you loose your Unlock. ANd you will not be able to use your Iphone with UnOfficial carrier. Stay on 3.1.2. Also If accidently you have upgraded to 3.1.3 then you can only downgrade your Iphone 3g/3gS but you CANNOT Unlock it since baseband remains same even after downgrading. Blackrai1n is no doubt one of the easiest Jailbreak and Unlock ever for Iphone 3g and Iphone 3gS on 3.1 or 3.1.2 Firmwares. Thanks to GeoHot for developing Blackra1n. But it came with some issues as well. Problems with Wifi, Youtube App and GPS are still detected after jailbreaking our iphones with newly updated Blackrain. The two Fixes shown in this video will work 100%. Solution 1: Users who are having Wifi issues, simply go to ’settings’ then ‘general’ then ‘reset’ then choose “Reset Network Settings”. This will clear your wifi issues. Solution 2: Users who are having YouTube App issues , they are not able to open it or access it, so they have to add a source in Cydia “apt.macosmovil.com” or “http Once source is added, then search for “Push Fix”. im not sure if this is related to this topic…i have iphone 3G FW 3.1.2, 05.11.07 and my wifi doesn’t work (same for cydia – i followed your iphonebrowser vid coz it crashes). wifi always mention unable to join network. tried reseting it, same problem. im planning to restore its settings but im not sure about 3.1.3 coz it doesn’t have any unlocking as of this time (am i updated?). what should i do for me to use my wifi and cydia again? retain 3.1.2 or update to 3.1.3? help . thanx
i did it all to your instructions but it hasnt fixed my youtube and now when i open cydia it opens and then closes straight away!
Thank you this fixed my internet access, I was connected through wi-fi but was unable to load anything from the internet, although had been for the last few months with no problem. Thank you appreciate the video.

i have an iphone 2g and im still havig problems with my wi fi it keeps loosing signal
you can downgrade u knw just put the ifone in recoverymode and go download redsnow 0.9.3 and than go download 3.1.2 firmware. now open redsnow and follow the step but when u get to where it ask for if you want to install cydia, leave all that stuff unchecked cause all ur doin is downgrading and than turn off the ifone and start the process and when it finish,you have downgraded but you’ll still have BASEBAND 05.12.01 and than jailbreak it with Spirit and go install Fuzzyband in try to downgrade
